As part of Subaru: Gear for Good initiative, five beneficiary organizations (Capitolo Youth Soccer, Dr. Henry H. Davis School, Project Primacy, Safe-Hub Philly, and Youth Development United) will receive brand-new gear tailored to their programs. Subaru, the Philadelphia Union, Leveling the Playing Field, and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation have teamed up to collect and redistribute new and gently used soccer equipment to kids in high-needs communities around Philadelphia and Camden, NJ.
Subaru: Gear for Good strives to expand access to soccer by collecting and redistributing new and gently used gear to youth in high-needs communities around Philadelphia and the automaker’s hometown of Camden, NJ.
In July, Subaru hosted an event at the Leveling the Playing Field Philadelphia warehouse where volunteers including Philadelphia Union defender Frankie Westfield helped kick off the Subaru: Gear for Good initiative. Volunteers sorted incoming donations to make space for future contributions.

Official Subaru: Gear for Good collection bins will be installed at five new locations across the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey region, in addition to the donation bins currently available at 17 local Subaru retailers and Subaru Park, home to the Philadelphia Union.
