Subaru of America’s five employee resource groups (ERGs) are led by employees who work to create ways to connect, learn, and grow. The Subaru Armed Forces Resource Group for Employees (SARGE) focuses on outreach and support for veterans within Subaru and its local communities. Each year, SARGE hosts events including the cleanup of Gettysburg National Military Park in order to bring the battlefield to its 1863 appearance.

Out+Ally is a network of LGBTQ+ employees and allies that strive to establish community, support, and resources for LGBTQ+ colleagues at Subaru. Subaru teammates participated in the Camden County Police Department’s Camden Pride Walk on June 30, 2023.
The Evolve employee resource group (ERG) promotes physical and social wellness by educating, motivating, supporting, and empowering employees with helpful resources. Among the many initiatives held in 2023, Evolve coordinated a stair challenge event in partnership with Build Jake’s Place, an all-inclusive playground for all abilities to play and interact together, and made a corresponding donation.
To celebrate the 16th anniversary of the Subaru Share the Love® Event in November 2023, Subaru employees across the country and at the automaker’s headquarters in Camden, NJ participated in volunteer projects benefiting local nonprofits.
In 2023, Subaru and more than 600 participating retailers helped over 52,000 shelter pets find loving homes during Subaru Loves Pets® month. Additionally, the automaker hosted pet adoption events at 33 auto shows nationwide, supporting 52 local pet organizations.
As part of the Subaru Loves Learning® initiative in 2023, Subaru of America “adopted” all 55 classrooms at the four-school Camden High Campus (grades 9-12) in the automaker's hometown of Camden, New Jersey. In addition to providing funding for teachers to purchase supplies for their classrooms, more than 170 volunteers from Subaru of America headquarters visited 15 schools across the district and assisted more than 80 teachers with preparations for the year, including helping them set up classrooms for the first day of school.
