Thomas J. Doll is a Corporate Advisor for Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA). In his role, Doll will continue to focus on championing corporate culture following his five years as President and CEO. Doll is credited with the annual Subaru Share the Love® Event, the Subaru Love Promise, the company’s vision to show love and respect to all people at every interaction with Subaru, and the philosophy that Subaru is More Than a Car Company®. Doll is proud of the direction he has led the company, which he says is a small company with a big company mindset. He believes the company’s values of teamwork and comradery sets Subaru apart from its competitors.

A more than 40-year veteran of SOA, Doll was promoted to CEO by SOA parent company Subaru Corporation in 2018. Prior to his promotion, he served as President for five years, and Chief Operating Officer for nine years. Doll also served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Business and Strategic Planning, Director of Accounting, Director of Treasury Operations and Manager of Treasury Operations. He joined SOA in 1982, after spending five years with Arthur Young and Company.

Doll holds an MBA from Drexel University and a bachelor’s in accounting from Villanova University. He is active in several financial organizations including the American Institute of CPAs. He says he has driven every Subaru vehicle ever made, and cannot choose a favorite. Doll lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and adopted shelter dog Molly.
