Michael Campbell is Vice President, Service and Quality for Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA). In his role, which he has held since 2017, Campbell is responsible for the technical training, warranty and quality teams, and service technical operations, including oversight of Subaru District Service Quality Managers. Since 2021 he has also served as the North American Subaru Inc. (NASI) Executive Advisor, which supports the Subaru Corporation quality and assurance and customer service functions within North America.

Prior to this role, Campbell was the Vice President of Field and Distributor Operations. Previously, he helped open SOA’s second Zone Office in California as Zone Director, and has held Regional Sales Manager, Regional Marketing Manager and Regional Fixed Operations Marketing Manager positions in the field. Campbell has held several other district roles in fixed operations and sales since he began his career at SOA 37 years ago as a warehouse worker at Subaru of Northern California.

Campbell holds an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and a bachelor’s from California State University, Sacramento. Campbell serves as the executive sponsor of the Subaru Employee Resource Group, Out + Ally, which supports LGBTQ+ employees. His favorite Subaru is a 1995-1997 Subaru SVX LSI AWD, which he argues is a vehicle design before it’s time, with a smooth and silky drive in a stylish coupe design.
