Joanna Foust is Vice President, Government Relations for North American Subaru, Inc. (NASI). In her role, Foust represents the automaker’s policy interests, ensuring its voice is heard in state and federal government matters.

Prior to joining NASI in 2019, Foust spent more than 10 years as the General Manager of Federal Affairs at Daimler North America Corporation. Foust began her career on Capitol Hill where she served in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives in various roles advising lawmakers on key policy issues.

Foust holds a master’s in public policy from George Washington University and a bachelor’s from Florida State University. She lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband and two sons, and is an avid Detroit sports fan.
