Season 7 of Launch Control will see the series expand to the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform for the first time, bringing rally and rallycross action into the homes of millions of Amazon Prime subscribers.
Launch Control features a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of a top-level racing program, and stars Subaru team drivers such as Travis Pastrana, Scott Speed and David Higgins.
Launch Control, Subaru Motorsports USA’s award-winning documentary series, will return for its seventh season starting August 28.
After its initial four-episode release on August 28 on Amazon Prime Video and YouTube, the series will follow its traditional every-other-Wednesday release format through the remainder of the season.
The new season will follow Subaru Motorsports USA throughout the 2019 Americas Rallycross (ARX) and American Rally Association (ARA) campaigns, as the team attempts to become the first program to win both championships in a single year.
Season 7 will kick off with a four-episode release on August 28 documenting the team’s rebrand to new blue and gold liveries and the ramp-up of the new rally and rallycross seasons.
Since its premiere in 2013, Launch Control has offered fans up-close access to the highs and lows of a racing season through the eyes of the Subaru/Vermont SportsCar rally and rallycross programs.
Season 6 of the series is now live on Amazon Prime Video, giving fans the opportunity to stream all twelve episodes of the 2018 series before the new season kicks off August 28.
Season 7’s episodes will document the emerging rivalry between reigning rally champion David Higgins and young phenom Oliver Solberg, as well as the Subaru team’s push for its first rallycross title with drivers Scott Speed, Chris Atkinson and Patrik Sandell.

Subaru rallycross driver Scott Speed currently leads the ARX championship and will be seeking the top spot on the Nitro podium.
The Nitro track’s large banked dirt corners allow drivers to choose between different cornering lines depending on driving style and car setup.
The Nitro track features several elements found nowhere else in top-level rallycross, including a tunnel that dives under the main jump.
Chris Atkinson was fastest in free practice at last year’s Nitro event and will look to translate that pace into a strong finish this year.
