SUBARU ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS TO EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) today announced three appointments to its executive leadership team – Laura Matey as vice president of information technology and chief information officer (CIO), Brian Moscatelli as vice president of service and quality, and Tim Tagye as vice president of field and distributor operations.
Matey has been with Subaru since 2000 and most recently served as vice president of service and quality. She has previously held management positions across a variety of departments. In her new role as vice president of information technology and CIO, Matey will oversee the strategy, development, and cross-functional delivery of the automaker’s information technology portfolio, leading Subaru of America through ongoing and future digital transformations.
Moscatelli, who joined Subaru in 1999, is named vice president of service and quality. He was previously vice president of field and distributor operations. In his new role, Moscatelli will be responsible for technical training, warranty, and quality functions (field quality and advanced quality assurance), as well as service technical operations, including overseeing district service quality managers. Moscatelli will also oversee electric vehicle strategy integration throughout the Subaru retailer network.
As vice president of field and distributor operations, Tagye will lead the automaker’s national field operations, added security, certified pre-owned, fleet sales teams, and retail operations training. Tagye will also act as an official SOA liaison with distributor partners Subaru of New England and Subaru Distribution Corp. Since joining Subaru in 2008, Tagye has held a range of roles in marketing and field operations, and most recently, led the retail operations training team.
